This September 11th the U.S. embassy in Egypt was attacked. All of the protesters were angry because an American film portrayed a profit inappropriately. They killed four people, and one was an ambassador that had helped them over throw a dictator. They took down our flag from the top of the building, ripped it, and put up an Islamic flag.
On 9/11 no less. The day we remember the terrorist attack that killed more that 3,000 Americans.
They claim that our freedom of speech had enabled us to ridicule their religion.
They were parading around with signs that said “There is no God.” So now i ask. What about our religion?
The part that makes me the most angry is that President Obama just apologized. That’s all. If they had complained about our film it would be right to apologize.
After they kill four innocent Americans and tear apart the flag that so many people died for I believe that president Obama should have stepped in.
I’m not saying he’s a terrible president. I’m not saying he doesn’t know what he’s doing because I’m sure in his mind it makes sense. I’m not saying that he is unqualified. And yes, I respect him as our president.
But I don’t think he made the right choice.
