Black Diamond.

Hey wonderful people of the internet!
Yesterday was an eventful day to say the least so let’s jump on into it.

Yesterday I got out of school at 11:00 a.m. because one of the many “senior perks” is leaving after finals. So at 11:09 I had my friend Erin in my car ready to meet up with our friend Teddy.
Shortly after meeting up at my house, changing, and playing with my new pet kitty we all hopped into Teddy’s car and headed to the zoo. We went to the zoo partly because I had never been to our local zoo and partly because everyone absolutely loves the zoo.

After that we decided to head off to the mall in search of some killer shoes for my friend (graduation calls for killer shoes). We did find them! However, not before I found 2 dresses, a shirt, and had formulated a hair brained idea.

So then my friend Teddy and I decided to head off to Black Diamond where I made the very first decision of my adult life. (My dad is going to be really mad about this, sorry dad.) I decided to get my belly button pierced. The pain of getting your belly button pierced is 100 times easier to deal with than a cartilage piercing, and 1000 times easier to deal with than the pain of your appendix on the verge of rupturing. Teddy held my hand and watched me get pierced through the phone screen so she “wouldn’t gasp and freak me out”. Probably because that’s just what best friends do. My piercer Zoe was really cool and super nice. I always love when a professional gets it into your mind that whatever you’re about to do won’t hurt near as bad as you think it will. (Like the time I got my appendix out and they were all “it won’t hurt”. I mean… It did. It was still nice to hear that it wouldn’t though.)

Special thanks to Teddy for holding my hand and Zoe for being rad.
