Good morning all of my loves.
Just trust me, we need this.

This week has been the pits, the worst, awful, ew, capital T Terrible. It was the anniversary of my Poppy’s death on Wednesday, yesterday I got a flat, AND A TICKET. Stress stress stress at work and at school. Of course the ever present thought of finals coming up. The need to do my defensive driving, STILL.

I am a strong individual but I am cracking under the pressure.

So after waking up with an eye swollen shut (from pointless POINTLESS crying), a lot of ice, and plenty of make up… I’m ready to try again.

When I decided this morning to try again and have a good day I said it, but I didn’t make an effort! Which did nothing for me. So I decided to start small with something simple.
Getting to school on time. Just a little baby goal. But I did it and I felt better. Then I decided to set another goal.
Smile at everyone I see. I did and this really sweet person told me they liked my lipstick which perked me up.
Then when Teddy sat down for morning coffee and to do our quizzes this other person walked in the coffee shop and walked up to me and said my lipstick looked really good on me. So when they got to the counter I asked if I could pay for their coffee! They said yes and they were really happy. I figured out her name was Hannah and shook her hand. She was super nice and told me about a trip she’s about to take in a few weeks or so.
When she went to leave she came up to me and told her I made her day and she hoped that I would have a good day too.

So instead of having a bad day this morning just because of a few bad days I can’t change that already happened I focused my mind on doing very small positive things and it turned my whole week around!

I hope all of you decide to have a good day today and if you don’t I hope you’re all brave enough to try again tomorrow.

Hello all my subbies and new comers, it’s the first day of November!

You have 2 months left to enjoy 2014.
Now is a time we need to finish strong. All of my school loves need to buckle down and focus, and all of my hardworking loves need to balance work and family lives.

Today I am proposing a challenge! You have 61 days left in 2014. Every single day you need to write down one good thing that happened to you. Just type it up really fast in your notes on your phone or scribble it in a notebook you use everyday.
Today my good thing is I woke up at my Momma and Casey’s new house in West Texas!

I can’t believe I’m here nearing the close of 2014 when just at the beginning I thought I’d never make it through all these changes alive! If I told you it hadn’t been an adjustment/struggle I’d be lying. However you should know, this has been the best time of my life.

This month please be looking out for:
-The last Mori.
-A drug abuse/depression awareness post.
-A Veterans Day post.
