Hello all of my lovely NBN ladies (and gentleman for all my manly men NBN followers). I’m going to come out and say it today…. I, Nealie, of NothingButNealie.com am a slob.

Contain your gasps of shock and horror. (You can’t fool me. I know none of you are really all that shocked.) When I say slob I mean that I literally wear only leggings and size XXL t-shirt when my actual size is a small. I haven’t really worn pants all that much since my surgery back in September. Something about how the button felt “weirdish” against my lower scar when I sat down? Then I guess I just got used to never wearing real life pants. Then (somehow magically) I wore real clothes that a real person would wear to fit into real life society.

I had my very last high school tennis tourney yesterday.
I suppose I’m glad to be done.
Then again we lost… So I mean… that stinks.

My partner and I had a rough day yesterday to make an entire trilogy story short.

Okay. Just. Thank God it’s Friday.

I’m completely starting over on my 5 page research paper for college Brit Lit. The problems I’m having with this paper are making me seriously question my journalism major… That’s a scary thing! I love to write, but can I write what people want me to? It’s just quite the bummer to not know how to feel about your life plan. Any other people struggling with me? Yes? No?

Anyways, be looking out for a review over Leigh T Moore’s book Dragonfly! It’s the first book in the Dragonfly series. The review should be coming up here in a week or so.

Hey NBN. Today has been CRAZY.

I went to school and did the usual.
Stats.
Cheer class.
PGP.
Lunch.
Brit Lit.
Science.
Then I got signed out early. On my way to the office my mom was like, “You have to go with your dad!”
So I was like, “Oh. Okay. Yes I’ll go with dad. Where though?”
So she was all, “I can’t tell you where, but you’re going to Dallas!”

So I got in the car and we went to meet up with dad.
Then I got in his car and we signed my brother and sister out of school too.
Then the 5 of us headed to Dallas.

Long story short we ended up at the Cartier store.
Dad and Deb bought me a bracelet from the Love Collection at Cartier!

It was great because we also got to buy it from Barbara, and let me tell you… Barbara is one of the most cultured people I’ve ever met. She always has some crazy story to tell us. This time she told us about good she ate in Brazil and France.

I don’t actually get my bracelet for two weeks though. I have a bad case of baby wrist so it was shipped off to New York to be resized.

Hey y’all, AWOL once again I know.

Excited to update you all on how things are going though!

First tennis:
We’ve been doing cross fit work outs just about every day. So I’m fit for now I suppose.
We’re in our second season so it’s tournament time! However when games are cancelled in this season they don’t get rescheduled. Due to the strange weather in Texas and UIL codes I’m down a tourney already. Only 4 left.

B job:
I am currently applying many many places for a second job. I need mo $$$ to put it simply.

Last school:
For those of you that don’t know I have officially been accepted to the college of my dreams! And for now I have a pretty promising high school and college GPA.

All of the above things have been keeping me from you. But you know what they say about excuses……

She IS beautiful. That’s right, YOU.
The most beautiful thing any girl can be is THOUGHTFUL. I know all the girls and women reading this right now are thoughtful because you don’t find things like this on accident and you had the ability to read this far. A pretty face and an empty head can only be beautiful in pictures. You could meet 1,000,000,000,000 GORGEOUS people, and not be intrigued/touched/enlightened by a single one. The things we notice about REALLY beautiful people are thing like the way they laugh or smile or speak. I don’t care WHO you are. If you have the ability to be compassionate and make people smile you’re stinking beautiful. The way you talk about the things you truly care about is BEAUTIFUL. No matter how many times you have said you are ugly. No matter how many times someone else has said you are ugly. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL if you know in your heart that you have touched someone’s life.
I don’t know what it is or who needed to see this post today, but I know someone did. God or the universe or a miracle or just dumb luck or whatever you happen to believe in possessed me to put this out here. So whoever it is that needed to hear how BEAUTIFUL their heart is today, I hope you know now.

Hey guys I’m just gonna jump right into this blog for you!

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you and your families! I hope all of you made the best memories of 2013 with friends and family close. This is the most wonderful time of the year after all.

A very special thank you to my group of friends (the family), Teddy, Emma, my boyfriend Ben, the Stinnett Family, my Mom and Step-Dad, my Dad and Step-Mom, and all of my siblings for always being so loving and supportive. You all are the people behind my NBN.

I wanted to thank every single one of you if you’re reading this for being a part of my 2013! I sincerely hope that each and every one of you have taken something from this blog to carry with you into 2014. Even if all you take is the knowledge that there are perks to being a bus driver, or the definition of a hipster I’m glad that you have that with you. Some of you have taken some things with you like the realization that it’s okay to let go, or that it’s okay to grab on.

You may or may not know it but you have all been here through the best and worst of my 2013. I hope you’ll be here for the best (and yes also the worst) of my 2014 as well!
